Description
This Remington Model 770 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum, designed for sporting and hunting applications. The firearm features a matte black finish on the barrel and receiver, paired with an aftermarket Boyds multicolored laminate wood stock in a green, gray, and brown forest camouflage pattern. The rifle is equipped with a one-piece scope mount with integrated rings marked 75700, though no optic is present. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation Remington MODEL 770 along with the serial number 71505427 on the left side of the receiver. The barrel is marked REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, INC. MAYFIELD, KY and 7MM REM MAG on the left side, while the right side of the barrel features a triangular proof mark, REP in an oval, and the number 17. The rifle includes a detachable box magazine and a black rubber recoil pad marked BOYDS. Sling swivel studs are fitted to the forend and the buttstock. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in very good overall condition. The matte black finish on the barrel and receiver is well-preserved, showing only minor surface wear and light scuffing, primarily on the bolt handle knob. The Boyds laminate stock is in excellent condition with no significant dings or scratches. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The bore was not inspected.
