Description
A Schrade Cutlery 80th Anniversary commemorative folding pocket knife, model 280, manufactured in Ellenville, New York, in 1984. This Big Daddy Barlow pattern knife features a single clip point blade made of Schrade+ stainless steel. The tang is stamped SCHRADE+ over N.Y. U.S.A. over 280. The blade face is etched with a banner detailing the company history: SCHRADE CUTLERY CO. 1904, SCHRADE WALDEN CUT. CORP. 1946, and SCHRADE CUTLERY CORP. 1974. The handle is constructed with brown jigged synthetic Staglon scales and an inset nickel silver oval shield marked 80TH ANNIVERSARY. The knife includes a single nickel silver bolster stamped SCHRADE and serialized 2543 on the top edge. It is built with brass liners and pins. The set includes the original brown hinged presentation box with a red velvet interior, a red velvet drawstring pouch, a red, white, and blue ribbon, a descriptive certificate, and an unfilled registration certificate.

Condition report:
The knife is in excellent, unused condition, retaining its original factory edge and finish. There are no signs of sharpening, carry, or use. The presentation box and accompanying documentation show minimal shelf wear consistent with long-term storage.
