This manual precision arbor press is manufactured by Janesville Tool and Mfg., Inc. of Milton, Wisconsin. The unit is identified by a manufacturer label and the model designations ILP-500 and JT&M 2G embossed on the teal-colored cast iron frame. It features a lever-operated rack and pinion ram and a removable slotted aluminum work plate with multiple mounting holes and red layout markings. Based on manufacturer specifications for the ILP-500 model, the press has a 1/2 ton capacity, a 6-inch stroke, and a 1.75-inch throat depth.
