Gun Collectors Dream Auction #83 May 2nd & 3rd TWO DAYS - NO RESERVES - 1200 LOTS!
Lot 166:
Sold for: $90
Description
This lot consists of spent brass shell casings chambered in .300 AAC Blackout, intended for use as reloading components. The collection includes once-fired brass primarily manufactured by Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos, Sellier & Bellot, and Winchester, stored loose within a cardboard shipping box. The casings are of standard rimless bottleneck construction suitable for resizing and reloading into .300 Blackout cartridges. The metal finish is natural brass, exhibiting typical surface tarnish and carbon residue from previous discharge. Key markings transcribed from the headstamps include CBC .300 BLACKOUT, indicating manufacture by Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos, S&B 300 AAC BLK, produced by Sellier & Bellot, and WMA 14, signifying Winchester Military Ammunition manufactured in 2014. These items are inert brass components and do not contain live primers, powder, or projectiles.
Condition report:
The casings are in used, once-fired condition, exhibiting typical signs of discharge including carbon fouling at the case mouths and natural oxidation on the brass bodies. The brass remains structurally sound for reloading purposes, though the items have not been cleaned, de-primed, or resized. No significant mechanical defects or crushed cases were noted among the visible items. The primer pockets remain occupied by spent primers, some showing original factory sealant in red or blue. The items are sold as inert components for reloading or recycling.
