Gun Collectors Dream Auction #83 May 2nd & 3rd TWO DAYS - NO RESERVES - 1200 LOTS!
Lot 195:
Sold for: $275
Description
This Mossberg Model 695 is a bolt-action 12-gauge shotgun specifically configured as a dedicated slug gun. The firearm features a 22-inch rifled bore barrel that is ported near the muzzle to mitigate recoil and is chambered for 2 3/4 and 3-inch shells. The metal components are finished in a matte bluing, and the firearm is fitted with a durable black synthetic stock featuring textured grip sections and a ventilated rubber recoil pad. Aiming is facilitated by a front blade sight and an adjustable rear notch sight, supplemented by a receiver-mounted Simmons Golden Antler scope with a duplex reticle. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation MOSSBERG MODEL 695 on the barrel, along with CHAMBERED FOR 2 3/4 & 3 IN. SHELLS and 12 GA. – 22 IN. RIFLED BORE. The receiver bears the serial number M009808 on the right side. This lot includes one detachable box magazine and a black nylon sling with a tan padded shoulder section. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The matte blued finish shows signs of light field use, including minor scuffs and thinning on the bolt handle and near the muzzle. The rifled bore appears bright. The black synthetic stock is in good condition with scattered light scuffs and handling marks. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The Simmons scope optics are clear and the reticle is intact.
