Lot 196:
A Lot of 100 Rounds of Hornady 6.5-284 Ammunition with R-100 Series Container
Sold for: $160
Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of 6.5-284 caliber centerfire rifle ammunition featuring high-quality Hornady brass cases. The collection includes two distinct projectile types, including rounds with orange polymer tips consistent with the Hornady V-MAX design and rounds featuring hollow point tips. The ammunition is organized within a green MTM Case-Gard R-100 series container, which is a deluxe 100-round rifle ammunition box equipped with an integrated carrying handle. Key markings include the headstamp HORNADY 6.5-284 on the base of the brass cases. The front of the plastic container is marked 6.5 x 284 in black marker. An internal Hornady reloading label from Grand Island, Nebraska, is affixed to the lid and dated February 22, 2013; however, it should be noted that the handwritten specifications on this label are for .22-250 caliber ammunition and do not correspond to the 6.5-284 rounds contained in this lot.
Condition report:
The brass cases and projectiles appear to be in good, clean condition with no visible signs of corrosion, oxidation, or significant tarnish. The primers are properly seated and the projectiles appear secure in the case necks. The MTM R-100 series plastic container is in good functional condition with a working latch and intact handle, showing only minor external shelf wear. The ammunition appears to be live.
