Description

This is a Schrade commemorative single-blade folding pocket knife issued for the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. The knife features a stainless steel clip point blade with a nail nick and a detailed black landscape etching of the Statue of Liberty and the New York City harbor. The tang is marked with a two-line stamp reading SCHRADE+ over U.S.A. LTD. The handle consists of dark brown jigged synthetic scales held by three brass pins with polished nickel silver bolsters at each end. The front bolster is stamped with the serial number 14406. A circular brass-tone medallion is inset into the front handle scale featuring the Seal of the City of New York. The item is housed in a wooden shadow box display frame with a glass front and a sawtooth hanger on the back.

Condition report:

The knife appears to be in mint, unused condition. There are no visible signs of sharpening, blade loss, or pocket wear. The etching is clear and well-preserved. The wooden display case shows minor shelf wear and light abrasions to the wood finish.
