Description
This single-stage reloading press is constructed with a heavy-duty cast iron O-frame designed for precision ammunition handloading. The unit utilizes a compound leverage system to facilitate the resizing of various metallic cartridges. The frame is finished in a characteristic mottled green hammer-tone coating. The steel operating handle is fitted with a green textured plastic grip for ergonomic use. The top of the frame features a threaded opening to accept standard 7/8-14 reloading dies. A shell holder is currently attached to the ram via a black plastic zip-tie. Key markings include the embossed patent designation PAT. NO. 2,847,895 on the upper linkage arm. Silver duct tape and a segment of tan cardboard are adhered to the side of the ram assembly.
Condition report:
The cast iron frame retains a high percentage of its green hammer-tone finish with some scattered chips and dust accumulation. Surface oxidation is visible on the unpainted steel handle shaft and linkage hardware. The mechanical action of the ram and linkage appears to function smoothly, though the unit has not been tested for reloading precision. Adhered tape and cardboard residue are present on the ram. The plastic grip remains intact with minor surface wear.
