Lot 236:
Browning A-Bolt Long Action Bolt Action Rifle Stock
Sold for: $55
Description
This factory wooden stock is designed for a Browning A-Bolt long action bolt-action rifle and features a high-gloss finish. The design incorporates a Monte Carlo style comb with a raised cheekpiece on the left side for right-handed use. The stock is adorned with checkered panels on the pistol grip and forend for enhanced grip texture. Hardware includes a black recoil pad with a light-colored spacer and two metal sling swivel studs. The internal inletting for the receiver, trigger group, and floorplate is clearly visible and appears to be in factory configuration. A yellow adhesive label on the right forend is marked BROWNING A-BOLT. This lot consists of the stock only and is missing the barreled action, trigger group, and floorplate components.
Condition report:
The high-gloss finish shows signs of use, including several visible scuffs, scratches, and small dings, particularly on the buttstock. The checkering remains crisp with minimal wear. The wood is free of cracks or structural damage. The recoil pad and sling swivel studs are in good condition with minor handling marks.
