Description

This lot consists of 100 cartridges of .44 S&W Special ammunition featuring brass casings and lead round-nose flat-point bullets. The ammunition appears to be handloaded or reloaded, characterized by mixed headstamps and specific loading notations on the accompanying packaging. Verbatim headstamp markings include WINCHESTER 44 S&W SPL, W-W 44 S&W SPL, CBC 44 S&W SPL, and P M C 44 S&W SPL. The cartridges are presented in a black plastic 100-round storage tray and are accompanied by four white cardboard storage boxes. One box features printed and handwritten labels specifying a 200-grain bullet weight and a 6-grain charge of W-231 powder. The verified count of 100 rounds is confirmed by the 10×10 grid arrangement in the tray, which includes two individual cartridges placed on top to fill the otherwise empty slots in the fifth and tenth rows.

Condition report:

The ammunition is in good overall condition with the brass casings showing light tarnish and the lead bullets exhibiting minor oxidation. The primers are seated and appear live, though the ammunition has not been test-fired. The cardboard boxes and plastic tray show light shelf wear, minor creasing, and typical handling marks.
