Lot 286:
A Lot of 60 Remington-Peters 7mm Remington Magnum Brass Ammunition Casings
Sold for: $30
Description
This lot consists of 60 spent brass ammunition casings intended for reloading purposes, contained within a cardboard box. The casings are of the belted magnum variety and are chambered for 7mm Remington Magnum. Key markings transcribed from the headstamps include the manufacturer designation R-P for Remington-Peters at the top and 7mm REM MAG at the bottom. Each casing shows clear evidence of previous firing, including the presence of spent primers and visible carbon fouling at the necks. The brass exhibits a natural surface tarnish consistent with used components and appears to be in an unprocessed state, requiring cleaning and resizing prior to any subsequent reloading.
Condition report:
The ammunition casings are in fired, used condition. The exterior brass surfaces show varying degrees of tarnish and light oxidation throughout. Necks exhibit carbon fouling from discharge, and all visible casings retain their spent primers in the primer pockets. The brass appears structurally sound for reloading, though the lot has not been individually gauged or inspected for internal defects or stress fractures.
