Lot 310:
A Lot of 50 Rounds of Mixed Manufacturer .41 Remington Magnum Ammunition
Sold for: $25
Description
This lot consists of 50 rounds of .41 Remington Magnum caliber handgun ammunition. The collection features a variety of mixed headstamps from prominent manufacturers, specifically Winchester-Western and Remington-Peters. The cartridges are constructed with brass casings and lead projectiles, with at least one round exhibiting a lead semi-wadcutter profile. Key markings transcribed from the headstamps include W-W SUPER 41 REM MAG, R-P 41 MAGNUM, and R-P 41 REM MAG. The ammunition is housed in a translucent white plastic storage box with the lid featuring the handwritten notation 41 MAG in black marker. The rounds are arranged in a five-row grid with one additional round resting horizontally across the center.
Condition report:
The ammunition shows signs of significant age and varied storage conditions. Many of the brass casings exhibit heavy tarnish and surface dulling. Several rounds show visible green oxidation, or verdigris, particularly near the case mouths and bases. The lead projectiles appear intact but show typical surface oxidation consistent with age. The plastic storage box is functional with minor scuffing. This ammunition is sold as-is; we have not function-tested these rounds and cannot guarantee their performance or safety.
