Description
This Harrington & Richardson Automatic is a top-break revolver chambered in .38 S&W. The firearm features a top-break action with an automatic ejector and an exposed hammer. The barrel is fitted with a fixed blade front sight and the frame features an integrated rear notch. The metal surfaces are finished in nickel plating, with a blued trigger guard and a case-hardened hammer. The revolver is fitted with black checkered hard rubber grips that display the circular target logo. Key markings include the top rib address HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON ARMS CO. WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS, U.S.A. and the left barrel marking H. & R. AUTOMATIC. The right side of the barrel is marked 38 S.&W. CTGE. and the serial number 515977 is stamped on the underside of the grip frame. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The nickel finish shows general surface wear, including fine scratches and scattered spots of oxidation and pitting, particularly around the cylinder and barrel assembly. The trigger guard retains a dark, blued finish with some light thinning. The bore was not inspected. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The hard rubber grips remain in good condition with sharp checkering and minor handling marks.
