Lot 376:
A Lot of 20 Rounds Federal American Eagle XM33C .50 BMG Ammunition
Sold for: $70
Description
This lot comprises a total of 20 rounds of Federal American Eagle brand .50 BMG centerfire rifle ammunition, contained within two original factory boxes of 10 rounds each. These cartridges are configured with 660-grain Full Metal Jacket projectiles. The brass cases exhibit visible factory annealing marks at the neck and shoulder, a standard feature of Lake City production intended to enhance case durability. Verbatim markings on the packaging include American Eagle, XM33, XM33C, 50 BMG, and 660 GRAIN FMJ. The cartridge headstamps are marked with the characters L, C, 1, and 3, which identifies the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant as the manufacturer with a production date of 2013. The primers are protected by a red lacquer sealant. This lot contains a verified quantity of 20 rounds.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in original, live condition. The brass casings show minor surface tarnish and typical factory heat-treat discoloration but remain free of corrosion or structural defects. The copper-jacketed projectiles are clean and appear properly seated. The black cardboard packaging exhibits moderate shelf wear, including edge fraying, corner dings, and surface scuffing consistent with long-term storage.
