Lot 395:
A Lot of 4 Norinco MAK-90 Pattern Wooden Furniture Components
Sold for: $60
Description
This lot consists of four wooden furniture components attributed to the Norinco MAK-90 Sporter rifle. The collection includes two thumbhole-style buttstocks with integrated pistol grips, one lower handguard, and one upper handguard gas tube cover. All components are crafted from a light-toned hardwood with a semi-gloss finish. The buttstocks are fitted with black rubber ventilated recoil pads and bottom-mounted sling swivels; one stock features two mounting screws on the upper wrist area, while the other is designed with a single mounting protrusion for a stamped receiver. The lower handguard includes a black metal front cap, and the upper handguard is equipped with an internal metal leaf spring. No manufacturer markings, model designations, or serial numbers are present on any of the pieces.
Condition report:
The hardwood components are in overall good condition, displaying minor signs of use and handling consistent with age. The semi-gloss finish shows light surface scratches, small dings, and minor pressure marks, primarily on the buttstocks. The metal hardware, including the sling swivels and handguard cap, exhibits light finish wear but remains free of significant oxidation. The rubber recoil pads are intact and retain their flexibility.
