Lot 444:
Remington Model 700 Bolt Action Rifle .223 Rem
Sold for: $750
Description
This Remington Model 700 bolt-action rifle is configured for precision or varmint applications, featuring a heavy bull barrel and a blued finish. The firearm is mounted in a distinctive high-contrast laminated wood stock characterized by a decorative wavy grain pattern and a textured black rubber recoil pad. Optics include a Nikon Monarch UCC scope with a simple crosshair reticle, mounted on Leupold bases and rings, and protected by an included camouflaged neoprene cover. Key markings on the receiver include the manufacturer and model designation Remington MODEL 700 along with the serial number 6711630. While the caliber is unmarked on the barrel, it appears to be chambered in .223 Rem. The rifle features a knurled bolt handle and a standard trigger guard assembly. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish shows light surface oxidation and minor spotting, particularly visible on the receiver, barrel, and scope mounts. The bolt handle knob exhibits thinning of the finish and light surface rust. The laminated wood stock remains in good condition with minor dings and surface wear consistent with field use. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The bore was not inspected. The optics appear clear with functional adjustment turrets.
