Description
This lot features a Glock Model 23 semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40 S&W, representing a second-generation iteration of this compact design. The firearm is constructed with a black polymer frame and a steel slide finished in a matte black coating. It comes equipped with Tru-Dot night sights and an aftermarket black rubber Hogue slip-on grip sleeve featuring finger grooves. Key markings include the Glock logo followed by 23 AUSTRIA and .40 SW on the left side of the slide, while the right side of the frame is marked MADE IN AUSTRIA / GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA. The matching serial number BTM805 is stamped on the right side of the slide and the barrel hood, with the serial number BTM805 US appearing on the metal plate on the underside of the frame. The barrel hood also displays a Glock logo and a pentagon proof mark. Included with the pistol is one 10-round polymer magazine marked with the Glock logo, AUSTRIA, and .40 with witness holes for rounds 4 through 10. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good used condition. The matte black finish on the slide shows minor holster wear at the muzzle and along the sharp edges, accompanied by light surface scratches and scuffs consistent with carry. The polymer frame is in good order with no cracks or significant abrasions. The Tru-Dot night sights are securely mounted, though their tritium luminosity has not been tested in darkness. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, but we have not function-tested this firearm. The bore was not inspected.
