Remington Model XP-100 Bolt Action Pistol Unknown Caliber for Parts/Repair
Sold for: $350
Description
This Remington Model XP-100 is a single-shot bolt-action pistol of unknown caliber, currently configured as a rusted parts gun. The firearm features a tapered barrel and a receiver mounted in a custom wood thumbhole target stock characterized by a contoured grip and dark wood spacers at the base. It is equipped with a Bo-Mar adjustable rear target sight, though the front sight base is missing its blade or insert. The bolt has been modified with a custom skeletonized circular handle featuring multiple perforations. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation on the left side of the receiver, which reads Remington over MODEL XP-100, and the serial number B7500912. The rear sight is marked BO-MAR and PAT. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The metal surfaces, including the tapered barrel and receiver, exhibit a worn blued finish with extensive surface rust and pitting throughout. The bore was not inspected but the exterior suggests significant oxidation. The custom wood stock shows various nicks, scratches, and finish wear consistent with age and heavy use. The action appears to move, but we have not function-tested this firearm for safety or mechanical reliability. The front sight is incomplete, missing the blade or insert.
