Description

This Ruger No. 1 is a single-shot falling-block rifle chambered in .22 Rem BR. The firearm features a heavy blued barrel and receiver, providing a robust platform for precision shooting. The metalwork is set into a checkered walnut stock and forend, which includes sling swivel studs. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation RUGER No. 1 on the top of the receiver and the serial number 131-25991 located on the underside. The barrel is marked 22 REM BR, though the firearm is identified as chambered in .22 Rem BR. Mounted to the receiver on Ruger-branded bases is a Leupold Vari-X III 6.5-20x magnification scope featuring target turrets, an adjustable objective, and a fine duplex reticle. The optic bears serial number 179276C. The buttstock is fitted with a factory red rubber recoil pad displaying the Ruger logo. A camouflage neoprene scope cover is included with the rifle. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

The blued finish on the barrel and receiver shows minor scratches and areas of light surface oxidation, particularly on the falling block and the exterior of the barrel. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The checkered wood stock and forend display light dings and handling wear consistent with use. The Leupold optic has clear glass and the adjustments move freely.
