Description
This lot consists of a collection of 10 firearm parts and accessories primarily configured for Model 1911 style semi-automatic pistols chambered in .45 caliber. The collection features two single-stack magazines, including one blued steel unit with the floorplate verbatim marked COLT and .45 AUTO while the side of the magazine body is hand-scribed with the characters KRA. The second magazine is an unmarked steel component. Included is a vintage red and white cardboard box for a Pachmayr Fine Gun Accessories Combat Magazine Bumper Kit, model MBK, which is marked MADE IN U.S.A. The assortment of small parts contains four distinct triggers: one skeletonized three-hole design in a silver finish and three curved, serrated triggers in various blued and stainless finishes. Additional components include a steel recoil spring guide rod, a blued slide stop, and a fixed rear sight featuring a two-dot sighting system. These components are intended for standard 1911 frames and slides.
Condition report:
The items in this collection range in condition from fair to good. One magazine retains a strong blued finish with minor thinning and the aforementioned hand-scribed markings, while the second magazine exhibits heavy surface oxidation and significant rust across the majority of its surface. The vintage Pachmayr box shows typical shelf wear, edge fraying, and minor staining consistent with its age. The four triggers and the slide stop show various levels of finish wear and signs of previous installation and use. The recoil spring guide rod shows some surface marring and finish loss. The rear sight appears intact with clear white dots. We have not function-tested these individual components in a firearm.
