This lot features a quantity of 400 rounds of .22 caliber rimfire ammunition primarily intended for target and standard velocity use. The collection is comprised of eight 50-round boxes from various manufacturers, including three boxes of Federal Gold Medal .22 caliber rimfire cartridges, two boxes of Winchester T22 Standard Velocity rimfire cartridges, one box of Hansen Cartridge Company .22 Long Rifle Standard Velocity cartridges, one box of Western Xpert rimfire cartridges, and one box of CCI mini-group .22 Long Rifle Target Velocity cartridges. The cartridges are loaded with lead round-nose bullets seated in brass casings. Verbatim markings on the packaging include Federal Gold Medal, Winchester T22, Hansen Cartridge Company, Western Xpert, and CCI mini-group. Visible headstamps on the cartridge bases include a capital F for Federal, a stylized W for Winchester or Western, and a diamond symbol. Condition report:
The ammunition boxes show signs of shelf wear, light staining, and minor crushing at the corners. The cartridges exhibit visible oxidation on the lead projectiles and minor tarnish or verdigris on the brass casings.
