Description
This lot consists of a collection of seven firearm accessories and components primarily intended for use with the Remington XP-100 bolt-action pistol. Included is a one-piece black-finished scope mount featuring integrated rings, with each ring top embossed with a circular mark containing the letter L, identifying it as a Leupold product. This mount is accompanied by three small black hex-head mounting screws treated with blue thread-locking compound. The lot further contains an adjustable rear sight assembly and a separate front sight base and blade, which are accompanied by a worn cardboard box with handwritten text that reads REM XP 100 REAR SIGHT. A single long blued-steel mounting bolt is also provided, though additional mounting hardware for the iron sights is not observed. Completing the collection is a Harris Engineering, Inc. Bipod Adapter No. 8, which remains in its original plastic packaging with a printed instruction card. Key markings include the Leupold L on the scope rings and the manufacturer information on the bipod adapter packaging which reads HARRIS ENGINEERING, INC. BARLOW, KY 42024.
Condition report:
The metal components exhibit minor surface wear and small areas of finish loss on the edges, consistent with handling and previous mounting. The bluing on the mounting bolt remains largely intact with some minor thinning. The cardboard box for the rear sight shows significant wear, staining, and tearing. The Harris bipod adapter appears to be in new-old-stock condition, preserved within its original sealed plastic packaging, though the instruction card shows some light discoloration and shelf wear.
