Description
This custom bolt action rifle is built on a Remington Model 700 receiver and is chambered in the .250 Tom Cat wildcat caliber. The firearm features a heavy profile stainless steel barrel and a blued receiver currently fitted with two piece scope bases. The action includes a polished bolt body with a checkered bolt handle knob. The rifle is mounted in a black synthetic polymer stock featuring a textured grip, two sling swivel studs, and a rubber recoil pad marked Remington. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation Remington MODEL 700 and the serial number 266335 on the left side of the receiver. Barrel markings specify HART — GILLMAN and 250 TOM CAT. This rifle is missing sights and does not include a magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish on the receiver and trigger guard remains largely intact with minor wear. The stainless steel barrel exhibits surface scratches and scattered minor oxidation spots. Surface rust is present on the bolt handle, bolt shroud, and scope base screws. The black synthetic stock shows scattered small nicks and scratches, primarily on the buttstock. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function tested this firearm. The bore was not inspected.
