Description
This Redding Type-S neck sizing die set is configured for the .222 Remington caliber and is intended for precision handloading applications. The set is contained within a signature green molded plastic case which features embossed text for Redding Reloading Dies and the manufacturer address Redding-Hunter Incorporated, 114 Starr Road Cortland New York 13045. Key markings include the model number 71109 and the caliber designation .222 Remington on the factory side label, while the stainless-steel die body is engraved B/NK X2. The internal components consist of the primary neck sizing die body, a black-finished decapping rod assembly, and an L-shaped Allen wrench. Also included is a Redding titanium nitride neck sizing bushing, size .242, part number 76242, which remains in its original plastic packaging with the descriptive insert.
Condition report:
The reloading components are in good used condition, exhibiting minor surface wear and light handling marks consistent with previous use. The stainless-steel finish on the die body remains bright, and the black-finished decapping assembly shows no significant signs of corrosion. The titanium nitride bushing appears to be in excellent condition within its protective bag. The green plastic case is structurally sound but shows light surface dirt and retains two vintage price stickers of $29.98 and $13.59.
