Description
This lot consists of 250 rounds of PMC Zapper 22 ammunition chambered in .22 Long Rifle. The ammunition is configured as high-velocity rimfire cartridges featuring lead hollow point projectiles. The cartridges are organized into five cardboard boxes, each containing a black plastic tray designed to hold 50 rounds. Key markings on the primary packaging include the manufacturer name PMC, the product name Zapper 22, and the description 50 High Velocity Long Rifle Rimfire Cartridges Hollow Point. The box end flaps are marked with the code 22D and 50 RDS. The cartridge headstamps are struck with a distinctive upward-pointing triangle mark. The ammunition is consistent with high-velocity loads intended for small game hunting and target practice.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes show signs of shelf wear consistent with age, including scuffing, edge compression, and minor tearing at the tuck flaps. The brass cartridge cases remain bright with no significant tarnish or corrosion. The lead projectiles exhibit visible white oxidation on the exposed surfaces, which is a common occurrence for lead bullets in older rimfire ammunition. The ammunition appears to be in original, live condition, though we have not function-tested this ammunition.
