Lot 1066:
A Lot of 60 Cartridges of 6mm Remington Ammunition
Sold for: $60
Description
This lot consists of 60 centerfire rifle cartridges chambered in 6mm Remington produced by two well-known manufacturers. Included is one 20-round box of Federal Ammunition Power-Shok featuring 100-grain soft point bullets and two 20-round boxes of Hornady Superformance ammunition utilizing 95-grain SST (Super Shock Tip) bullets with red polymer tips. The cartridges are contained within their original cardboard packaging and plastic factory trays. Verbatim case head markings include F C 6MM REM on the Federal brass and HORNADY 6mm REM on the Hornady brass. The ammunition was manufactured for use in centerfire bolt-action or semi-automatic rifles specifically chambered for the 6mm Remington cartridge.
Condition report:
The brass cartridge cases show significant signs of age and improper storage, including heavy tarnish, oxidation, and visible green verdigris. Due to the level of external corrosion, the ammunition is sold for salvage or display purposes only and should be inspected by a qualified professional before any attempt is made to fire it. The cardboard boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear, including surface scuffing, edge fraying, and some blunting of the corners.
