Lot 107:
Ruger Mini 14 Semi-Automatic Rifle Two-Piece Wood Stock Set
Sold for: $55
Description
This lot consists of a two-piece factory style wood stock set for the Ruger Mini 14 semi-automatic rifle, comprising the main buttstock and a matching handguard. The stock is constructed from a light-colored hardwood, likely birch, with a smooth satin finish and features a side-mounted metal sling swivel and a black-finished synthetic or metal buttplate. The matching wood handguard includes its internal metal spring tensioning clip for secure attachment to the barrel assembly. Key markings include a circular cartouche or proof mark impressed on the right side of the stock near the receiver inletting, though the specific characters within the mark are not clearly legible. The interior inletting is designed for the standard Mini 14 action and shows clean factory-style routing. There are no visible serial numbers or additional manufacturer stamps on either component.
Condition report:
The stock set is in good overall condition. The wood finish remains consistent across both pieces, showing only minor handling wear such as scattered light scratches and small surface impressions. There are no cracks, splits, or significant chips visible in the wood. The black finish on the metal buttplate and sling swivel shows minimal wear. The internal spring clip on the handguard is intact and retains proper tension.
