Description
This lot features a Beretta Model 92FS semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Parabellum, a design widely recognized for its service history and reliability. The pistol is equipped with a 4.9 inch barrel and features a matte black finish on the slide and frame. The furniture consists of black checkered synthetic grips prominently displaying the Beretta trident logo. The sighting system includes standard fixed three-dot sights for target acquisition. Key markings include the model designation on the right side of the slide, MOD. 92FS-CAL. 9mm Parabellum-PATENTED, while the right side of the frame contains a standard safety warning. The left side of the slide is marked BERETTA U.S.A. CORP. ACKK., MD. – MADE IN USA alongside the PS and PB logos. The serial number BER419972 Z is clearly stamped on the left side of the frame. This lot includes one magazine, an HKS Model 941 magazine loader, and a black Doskocil hard plastic carrying case. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol exhibits a matte black finish with noticeable wear and finish loss on high edges, specifically at the muzzle, slide, and the bottom of the grip frame. The bore was not inspected, but the exterior of the barrel shows standard cycling wear. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm for safety or live-fire performance. The black checkered synthetic grips are in good condition with minor handling marks, while the grip screws show signs of surface oxidation. The included Doskocil case and HKS loader are in functional condition with typical signs of use.
