Lot 1085:
A Lot of Approximately 500 Remington .25 ACP Unprimed Brass Casings
Sold for: $30
Description
This lot consists of a bulk quantity of approximately 500 unprimed .25 ACP brass casings, intended for reloading, with a total weight of approximately 2 pounds. The brass is contained within an original Midway Arms cardboard shipping box. The exterior of the box features several handwritten notations in black ink including 500 25 ACP BRASS (Remington), $33.95, 5-20-88, and MIDWAY ARMS. A small white label adhered to the front of the box is printed with 500 over 25 ACP, and additional blue ink handwriting next to it reads BW 4/13. The casings are bright yellow brass and appear to be in clean condition, consistent with the Remington manufacture indicated on the packaging. This lot represents a significant quantity of specialized small-caliber components from the late 1980s.
Condition report:
The brass casings are in good, clean condition, exhibiting a bright yellow finish with no visible signs of heavy corrosion, verdigris, or significant oxidation. The cardboard packaging shows typical signs of age and shelf wear, including surface scuffing, tape residue, and mild discoloration, though the handwritten and printed markings remain clear and legible.
