Description
This cased pair of Hornady Custom-Grade New Dimension reloading dies is chambered for .260 Remington and includes one full-length sizing die and one seating die. The dies are constructed of steel with a matte finish and feature knurled locking rings and adjustment collars for precision handloading. The set is housed in its original red plastic storage case featuring an embossed H logo on the lid and includes a manufacturer instruction sheet and a small hex wrench. Verbatim markings on the front packaging label include Hornady CUSTOM-GRADE New Dimension Dies, while the side label provides more specific details including .260 REMINGTON, Series I, 2 Die Set- FULL LENGHT, Item# 544269, and Use Shellholder # 1, along with the code 9903 RM. Both dies appear to be complete with their respective locking rings and adjustment assemblies. Note that the instruction sheet shows light wear and the side label has a prominent horizontal tear through the caliber designation.
Condition report:
The dies are in good used condition, with the matte steel finish showing only light surface wear and minor storage-related discoloration in the knurling and threads. The decapping pin in the sizing die appears straight and functional, and the adjustment threads on both dies move smoothly. The red plastic case is structurally sound with light exterior scuffing and shelf wear. The paper labels show typical aging, and as noted, the side label is torn across the middle.
