Lot 1102:
A Lot of 175 Winchester .308 Win Spent Brass Casings
Sold for: $50
Description
A lot of 175 spent brass rifle ammunition casings chambered in .308 Winchester, intended for reloading applications. These casings feature a bottleneck design and a standard brass finish. The collection consists of fired shells that display typical indications of use, including carbon residue at the mouths and varying degrees of surface tarnishing or oxidation. Key markings on the case heads include the WIN manufacturer designation and the 308 caliber stamp. The primers have been struck, confirming that these are empty, spent components and are inert.
Condition report:
The brass casings are in fired, used condition with carbon fouling present at the necks. The exterior finish shows natural tarnishing and light oxidation consistent with once-fired brass. No significant structural damage or crushing is noted, though minor surface marks and dings from the ejection process may be present. All primers are struck and the cases are empty.
