Sold for: $250
Description
This lot consists of nine semi-automatic pistol magazines primarily configured for the Smith & Wesson M&P series of handguns, including variants for both compact and full-sized models. The collection features three magazines with yellow followers and stainless steel bodies, marked with witness holes for a 10-round capacity in .40 S&W and numbering sequences of 4, 5, 7, and 9 on one side and 6, 8, and 10 on the reverse. Also included are three 15-round magazines chambered in .40 S&W with orange followers, showing witness markings for rounds 4 through 15; one of these magazines is marked with the handwritten initials R.D. in red marker. The group is further composed of a .40 S&W magazine with a blue follower and a 9mm magazine with a grey follower, both of which are stamped MADE IN ITALY on the body. One magazine body is present without a floor plate and features a dark follower and a single witness hole on the spine. Key markings across the items include the Smith & Wesson brand logo on numerous base plates and bodies, along with caliber designations for .40 S&W and 9mm. One magazine is missing its floor plate and internal spring retention assembly.
Condition report:
The magazines are in good overall condition, exhibiting typical signs of prior use such as minor surface scuffs and light scratches on the stainless steel bodies. The polymer floor plates show standard wear. The followers appear to be functional with consistent spring tension on the complete units. One magazine is missing its floor plate and retaining assembly but the body remains structurally sound. No significant corrosion or pitting is visible on any of the metallic components.
