Description
This Lyman Universal Power Trimmer is a dedicated ammunition case-reloading tool mounted on a functional particle board base. The assembly features a 115V motor encased in a textured black housing mated to a durable orange cast-metal frame with an integrated red rocker power switch. Operation is facilitated by a sliding shaft with a large black spherical handle, and the unit includes a standard two-prong power cord. Key markings on the motor housing label include Lyman Universal Power Trimmer, 2.5 Amps Maximum At 115V 50-60 Hz, and CAUTION: This Is Not a Toy and Is Intended For Use By – Or Under the Supervision Of – Adults. Read Instructions Prior To Operation. The label further identifies the manufacturer as Lyman Products Corp. 475 Smith St. Middletown CT 06457 USA. This lot is accompanied by the original factory shipping box, one unopened package of a Lyman Carbide Cutter Head, a clear plastic tube with three metal pilots, and an orange pharmacy vial containing approximately seven additional metal pilots and accessory components.
Condition report:
The power trimmer is in good, used condition showing light surface wear and minor oxidation on some exposed screw heads and the shaft. The orange finish on the frame remains largely intact with minor scuffs from use. The black motor housing and power cord are in good physical condition with no visible damage. The included carbide cutter head in the blister pack is new and unused. We have not function-tested the electric motor or the mechanical trimming action.
