Taurus 740 Slim Semi-Automatic Pistol .40 S&W with 3.2 Inch Barrel
Sold for: $160
Description
This lot features a Taurus 740 Slim semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40 S&W, a subcompact firearm designed for concealed carry. The pistol is configured with a 3.2-inch barrel and a blued steel slide mounted on a black polymer frame with textured grip panels. Key markings include the circular Taurus bull logo and “Made in Brazil” on the left side of the slide. The right side of the slide is marked “Taurus Intl Mfg / Miami, FL — USA”, the serial number “SHR42435”, and “740 SLIM / .40 S&W”. The serial number “SHR42435” is also visible on the barrel through the ejection port and on a metal plate located under the forward part of the frame. The firearm is equipped with a manual thumb safety, a slide lock, and a three-dot sighting system. Included with the pistol is one 6-round single-stack magazine featuring a black finish and a high-visibility orange follower. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish on the slide is in good condition, showing typical wear on the edges and forward contact points consistent with holster carry. The polymer frame is structurally sound, showing only minor surface debris within the textured grip areas. The three-dot sights are clear and intact. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The included magazine shows minor finish wear from standard use.
