Description
This cased trio of reloading dies is chambered for .223 Remington and consists of components from both RCBS and Lyman. The set is housed in an original green textured plastic RCBS storage case. Technical specifications include steel construction with knurled adjustment knobs and a combination of knurled and hex-head lock rings for depth adjustment. The set includes two RCBS sizing and decapping dies and one Lyman seating die. Key markings on the exterior case label include RCBS OMARK INDUSTRIES, GROUP A, PART # 11101, USE SHELL HOLDER # 10, and FL DIE SET .223 REMINGTON. The center seating die is explicitly stamped with the manufacturer name LYMAN. Note that the shell holder specified on the box label is not included with this lot.
Condition report:
The dies show visible surface oxidation and light rust on the exterior steel bodies and knurling. The adjustment threads appear intact, though lock rings show signs of age and light corrosion. The green plastic storage case exhibits general handling wear, surface dirt, and scuffing, and the original adhesive label shows age-related yellowing and light staining. The internal functional surfaces were not inspected but may require cleaning and lubrication prior to use given the observed exterior oxidation.
