Lot 1145:
A Collection of Law Enforcement Handcuff Keys Including Peerless and Zak Tool Examples
Sold for: $70
Description
This lot comprises a collection of contemporary law enforcement and security equipment. The assortment includes approximately 29 nickel-plated barrel-style handcuff keys and three tactical pen-style handcuff keys. The barrel keys are organized on three large metal split rings. These keys are constructed from nickel-plated steel and feature a standard bit and a double-lock actuator pin. The circular loops of these keys are stamped with the characters HANDCUFF, and at least one key is marked with the name PEERLESS. The three tactical keys are professional-grade tools with a matte black finish, likely over steel or aluminum. They feature a knurled central grip, an integrated pocket clip, and a double-lock actuator pin on the end opposite the key bit. Each tactical key bears a silver-colored logo with the letters Z and K, identifying them as Zak Tool manufactured accessories.
Condition report:
The items are in good, functional condition. The standard barrel keys show minor surface scratches and light wear consistent with professional use. The tactical pen keys exhibit light wear and small chips to the black finish, particularly around the actuator pins and bit ends.
