Lot 1161:
Erma-Werke Model La 22 Semi-Automatic Pistol .22 LR
Sold for: $300
Description
This Erma-Werke Model La 22 is a German-manufactured semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22 LR, designed with a toggle-lock action that references the aesthetic of the Luger P.08. The firearm features a tapered steel barrel and a blued finish on the frame and receiver components. The furniture consists of brown checkered plastic grips secured by a single grip screw on each side. Sighting is provided by a fixed front blade and a rear notch integrated into the toggle assembly. Key markings include the model designation ERMA · La 22 and the serial number 21261 on the left side of the frame, accompanied by German proof marks including an eagle over N. The right side of the frame is stamped MADE IN GERMANY and cal. 22 L.R., while the safety lever is marked GESICHERT. One detachable single-stack magazine is included with this lot. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish exhibits significant thinning and honest wear, particularly on the high edges, front strap, and trigger guard. The brown checkered plastic grips remain in good condition with well-defined texture and only minor handling marks. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm for safety or live-fire performance. The included magazine shows heavy finish wear and surface scratches but appears mechanically sound. The bore was not inspected.
