Gun Collectors Dream Auction #84 June 13th & 14th
Lot 1163:
Sold for: $120
Description
This lot consists of thirteen factory-original Glock semi-automatic pistol magazines chambered in .40 S&W, comprising several variants suitable for the Glock 22 and Glock 23 models. The collection is characterized by eight 13-round capacity magazines produced during the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban era, each featuring the molded inscription RESTRICTED LE/GOVT ONLY followed by the date 9.13.94 and GLOCK INC., SMYRNA, GA. The remaining five magazines include two 15-round Glock 22 magazines, one 13-round Glock 23 magazine, and two restricted 10-round capacity magazines. All units are constructed of Glock’s proprietary high-strength black polymer with internal steel reinforcements and feature numbered witness holes on the rear face for ammunition counting. Key markings found on the rear of the magazine bodies include the Glock logo consisting of a letter G within a rectangle, the caliber designation .40, and AUSTRIA. The magazines utilize black polymer followers and standard factory baseplates. Note – these accessories do not require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The magazines are in good overall condition, exhibiting signs of light use and minor surface wear consistent with age and handling. The black polymer bodies show some superficial scuffs and scratches but remain structurally sound with no cracks or significant deformations observed. The internal steel liners are intact and free of notable corrosion. The followers appear to function correctly under spring tension, though these items have not been live-fire tested. The baseplates are securely attached and show typical minor edge wear.
