Description
This lot consists of a bulk box of Winchester .22 Long Rifle rimfire ammunition intended for varmint hunting, small game, target shooting, and plinking. Each of the 555 cartridges features a 36-grain hollow point copper-plated bullet designed for a muzzle velocity of 1280 feet per second. The ammunition is loose-packed in its original cardboard bulk packaging. Key markings on the box include the Winchester brand name with horse and rider logo, 555 ROUNDS, VARMINT, SMALL GAME, TARGET & PLINKING, 22 LONG RIFLE, 36 GRAIN, 1280 FPS, and HOLLOW POINT COPPER PLATED. The box is also marked MADE IN USA. Individual cartridge brass cases are headstamped with the word SUPER inside an oval, identifying them as part of the Super-X product line.
Condition report:
The cardboard packaging shows moderate wear, with visible tearing on the top flaps and creasing throughout the box structure. The ammunition itself appears to be in clean, well-preserved condition. The brass cases retain their factory finish with no significant signs of corrosion, oxidation, or verdigris. The copper plating on the projectiles is consistent and intact.
