Sold for: $50
Description
This is an RCBS 4-piece reloading die set for the .44 Auto Mag cartridge, housed in its original green plastic storage case. The set consists of four individual steel die components including a full-length sizing die with an integrated decapping pin, an expander die, a seating die, and a fourth specialized die component. Each die features a knurled adjustment head and a threaded body fitted with a locking ring for precise press installation. The lot includes the original green plastic case and an original RCBS Omark Industries reloading die instruction manual. Verbatim markings on the side of the case include a handwritten label stating 44 AUTO MAG 4 PIECE DIE SET and a vintage orange sale sticker marked $45.00 and 250GR. The lid of the case is embossed with the RCBS OMARK INDUSTRIES logo and bears an older yellow price sticker marked $58.65. Note – As a set of reloading tools and not a firearm, this item does not require a federal background check.
Condition report:
The steel dies exhibit light surface wear and scattered minor oxidation spotting, primarily on the non-functional exterior surfaces and knurled areas. The threads remain sharp and undamaged, and the decapping pin is present and appears straight. The green plastic case shows typical exterior scuffs, light surface scratches, and some adhesive residue from previous labeling. The instruction manual is complete with light edge wear and age-related toning.
