Lot 1234:
A Lot of 100 Federal American Eagle .38 Special 130 Grain FMJ Ammunition
Sold for: $70
Description
This lot comprises 100 rounds of Federal American Eagle brand .38 Special centerfire pistol ammunition, divided into two original boxes of 50 cartridges each. Each cartridge is loaded with a 130-grain full metal jacket projectile seated in a reloadable brass casing with a non-corrosive primer. Prominent markings on the cardboard retail packaging include the American Eagle logo, 38 SPECIAL, 130 GRAIN FULL METAL JACKET, and the manufacturer name FEDERAL AMMUNITION. The side panels specify 50 CENTERFIRE PISTOL CARTRIDGES/CARTOUCHES and the product code AE38K. Verification of the individual cartridge headstamps confirms they are marked verbatim as FEDERAL 38 SPECIAL. This ammunition is professionally manufactured for reliable performance during target practice, training, and general range use.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in excellent overall condition, with the brass casings appearing bright and clean without signs of corrosion, oxidation, or verdigris. The copper-jacketed projectiles and primers appear factory-new and are securely seated. The two cardboard boxes show moderate shelf wear consistent with handling and storage, including scuffed edges, minor creasing at the corners, and small tears to the end flaps, but they remain structurally sound and continue to hold the internal plastic trays securely.
