Lot 1243:
A Lot of 80 Winchester Varmint & Predator .223 Remington Cartridges
Sold for: $75
Description
This lot consists of 80 rounds of Winchester Varmint & Predator brand ammunition chambered in .223 Remington. Each cartridge features a 45-grain jacketed hollow point (JHP) projectile, specifically engineered for high-velocity performance in small game and predator hunting applications. The ammunition is housed in two original “40 Round Value Pack” retail boxes, each containing an internal white styrofoam tray for secure storage. The brass casings are clean and uniform throughout the lot. Prominent markings on the headstamps are transcribed verbatim as WINCHESTER 223 REM. The packaging features the Winchester logo and includes various identification numbers such as product code 5425517 and UPC-12411. Additional box markings include the caliber designation, grain weight, and bullet type, along with a Made in USA label and retail price stickers.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in excellent, live condition with clean brass casings and no visible signs of corrosion, oxidation, or tarnish. The hollow point projectiles are well-preserved with no apparent deformation to the tips. The original cardboard packaging exhibits minor shelf wear, light surface staining, and adhesive residue from price stickers, but the boxes and internal styrofoam trays remain structurally sound and functional.
