Lot 1351:
A Lot of 105 Rounds of Remanufactured .308 Winchester Ammunition
Sold for: $80
Description
This lot consists of 105 rounds of remanufactured .308 Winchester caliber ammunition housed in two red plastic flip-top storage boxes. The collection features a mixture of projectile types, including spitzer full metal jacket and spitzer soft point bullets. The ammunition appears to be hand-loaded or commercially remanufactured, utilizing varied brass casings. Verbatim markings found on the lids of the storage containers include MIXED 308 on the first box, and SOFT POINT, 1206828, 308 WIN, and 9292021 on the second box. The casings exhibit a range of surface tarnish and light oxidation consistent with standard long-term storage. Due to the nature of remanufactured ammunition, these rounds are sold for components or for use by experienced shooters who understand the specific requirements of such loads.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in overall good condition, with the brass casings showing some surface tarnish and light oxidation. The projectiles are securely seated and free from heavy corrosion. The red plastic storage cases are functional with working hinges and latches, though they exhibit minor scuffs and marks from handling. This ammunition is live but has not been function-tested or evaluated for ballistic consistency.
