Description
This Kel-Tec SU-16E is a lightweight and versatile semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56mm, designed for portability and utility. It features a 16-inch barrel fitted with a standard birdcage-style flash hider and an adjustable gas system. The rifle is constructed with a durable black polymer receiver and features an integrated Picatinny rail along the top for optics, which is currently fitted with a rear peep sight and paired with a front post sight. Prominent markings on the right side of the receiver include the model designation and caliber SU-16 5.56mm, the manufacturer identification KEL-TEC CNC INC, COCOA FL, and MADE IN USA. The serial number NGX58 is stamped on the right side of the receiver near the handguard. The left side of the receiver displays the stylized KEL TEC logo. This specific E-model variant is configured with an AR-style pistol grip and a buffer tube assembly supporting a Magpul-style adjustable telescopic buttstock. The traditional polymer handguard has been replaced with a quad-rail system for accessory mounting. The rifle includes one detachable 30-round capacity black polymer magazine. Condition report:
The rifle is in good overall condition, showing minor handling wear consistent with light field use. The matte black finish on the barrel and metal components exhibits some thinning on the sharp edges and the muzzle device. The polymer receiver and furniture are well-preserved with only superficial scuffs and no cracks or structural damage. The telescopic stock and quad-rail handguard are secure and function correctly. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, though we have not function-tested this firearm for live-fire safety or reliability. The magazine shows typical insertion wear.
