Lot 1375:
A Lot of 200 Rounds of Remington 25 Automatic Ammunition
Sold for: $65
Description
This lot consists of 200 rounds of .25 Automatic centerfire ammunition, primarily of Remington manufacture. The ammunition is housed in one black plastic storage case and two original Remington cardboard boxes with internal plastic trays. The cardboard boxes are labeled Remington UMC 25 AUTOMATIC 50 GR. MC and Remington 25 Automatic 50 GR. METAL CASE R25AP / High Velocity respectively. These cartridges are loaded with 50-grain metal-jacketed projectiles. Verbatim markings found on the cartridge headstamps include R-P 25 AUTO, identifying the manufacturer as Remington-Peters. The ammunition contained within the black plastic storage case includes a mixture of lead-nose and metal-jacketed projectiles. All rounds are organized within plastic tray inserts designed for secure storage and transport.
Condition report:
The ammunition shows varying degrees of age-related tarnish and oxidation on the brass casings and some lead projectiles. The metal-jacketed projectiles generally retain their original finish, while the lead-nose rounds in the plastic storage case show surface dulling and oxidation. The original cardboard boxes exhibit significant shelf wear, including rubbing, creasing, and some tearing to the end flaps. The plastic trays and the black storage case remain in good, functional condition. All ammunition appears to be live and well-preserved.
