Description
This is a brand new Dark Storm Industries DS-15 stripped lower receiver designed for the AR-15 platform and capable of multi-caliber configurations. Constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum with a durable matte black finish, this forged receiver features a fixed shield design as indicated on the factory packaging. As a stripped lower, it is sold without a fire control group, pistol grip, or buffer tube assembly, allowing for a custom build. Key markings on the left side of the magazine well include the model designation DS-15, CAL: MULTI, the serial number EFX1073, and US PATENT 9,482,478. Above the trigger housing, the receiver is marked DARK STORM INDUSTRIES and OAKDALE NY USA, accompanied by pictographic safety selector markings which are mirrored on the right side. The right side of the magazine well prominently displays the DSI shield logo, while the underside is marked G3.2-201125 and 7075-T6. The unit includes a black polymer magazine insert marked 5.56 X 45 with a bullet icon and comes in its original factory box with matching serial number labels. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The receiver is in brand new, excellent condition, retaining 100 percent of its original matte black finish. There are no visible scratches, dings, or signs of previous assembly, with only minor factory oil residue present. The mechanical action cannot be tested as the fire control group is not present. The included magazine insert and factory box are also in excellent condition.
