Description

This lot consists of 150 rounds of remanufactured .38 Special ammunition organized within three translucent plastic storage cases. The collection features a mixture of brass and nickel-plated casings from various manufacturers, loaded with a variety of projectile types including lead wadcutters, lead round nose, and copper jacketed hollow points. Verbatim headstamps transcribed from the casings include SPEER 38 SPL +P, FEDERAL 38 SPL +P, WINCHESTER 38 SPL, CCI 38 SPL, NORMA 38 SPECIAL, PMC 38 SPL, R-P 38 SPL, W-W SUPER 38 SPL +P, and W-W 38 SPL. Internal handwritten and typed labels specify loading data for the various batches, including 3.1 min 31 with 158 gr LWC, 4.4 Bullseye with 158 gr LRN, and 5.2 gr 231 with 125 gr JHP. The cartridges are housed in a blue case, a smoke-colored case, and a seafoam green case, each containing approximately 50 rounds.

Condition report:

The ammunition casings generally exhibit a bright finish, with minor tarnish and light surface oxidation present on some of the brass and nickel surfaces. The projectiles are securely seated and appear to be in good physical condition. Based on the presence of intact primers, the ammunition appears to be live. The blue, smoke, and green plastic storage boxes show light surface scuffing and wear from handling but remain structurally sound with secure hinges and latches. As this is remanufactured ammunition, it is sold as is and has not been function-tested.
