Description

This lot consists of a bulk quantity of .45 G.A.P. (Glock Auto Pistol) brass cartridge casings housed within a military-style ammunition container. The casings are manufactured by Federal and are in a primed condition, prepared for reloading processes. A visual inspection identifies fifteen loose casings in the foreground with a significant bulk quantity filling the interior of the can approximately halfway. The casings are contained in an olive drab metal M19A1-style ammunition can featuring a hinged lid, carry handle, and a yellow plastic security seal. Verbatim markings found on the headstamps of the casings include Federal 45 GAP. The side of the ammunition can bears yellow stenciled markings identifying its original contents as 200 CARTRIDGES, 7.62 MM, M 13, CARTONS, 1 M62-4 M80 with a lot number of LC-96 602L163. The brass components appear cleaned and polished, showing both silver and brass-colored primers.

Condition report:

The brass cartridge casings are in good, serviceable condition, featuring a bright polished appearance with only minor instances of localized tarnishing. The primers are un-struck and appear correctly seated in the primer pockets. The metal ammunition can shows typical signs of prior field use, including surface scratches, finish wear, and scattered areas of light oxidation and surface rust concentrated on the handle and lid seams. The internal rubber gasket appears to be present and intact.
