Sold for: $40
Description
This is a Crosman G1 Extreme break-barrel air rifle chambered in .177 caliber (4.5mm), designed for target shooting and small game control. The rifle features a rifled steel barrel housed within a flared polymer muzzle shroud that serves as a cocking aid. The metal components exhibit a blued finish, and the action is mounted to a black synthetic stock that includes textured grip surfaces on the pistol grip and forearm for a secure hold. This example is equipped with a CenterPoint 3-9×32 AO (Adjustable Objective) scope with a mil-dot reticle, mounted to the receiver’s dovetail rail with a one-piece mount. The stock terminates in a rubber recoil pad for comfortable shooting. Prominent markings include the model designation Crosman G1 EXTREME on the receiver, while the barrel block is stamped with MODEL: CS1K77KTBX, .177 CAL. (4.5mm), and the serial number 008X01650. A warning label on the receiver specifies that the rifle was manufactured in China for the Crosman Corp. Note – As an antique or black powder firearm, this item does not require a background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish on the metal components is in good condition, showing only minor surface wear and light handling marks. The synthetic stock is sturdy and well-maintained, with occasional superficial scuffs and crisp texturing. The break-barrel action appears to function correctly and locks up securely, though it has not been test-fired. The optics on the CenterPoint scope are clear and the reticle is well-defined, with the exterior of the scope showing minimal wear. The bore was not inspected but the overall exterior condition suggests careful storage.
