Lot 1441:
A Lot of 106 Rounds of Remanufactured .22-250 Ackley Improved Ammunition
Sold for: $55
Description
This lot consists of 106 rounds of remanufactured .22-250 Ackley Improved centerfire rifle ammunition, housed in two blue plastic MTM Case-Gard storage boxes. The collection includes 52 rounds fitted with gold-toned, pointed monolithic-style projectiles and 54 rounds featuring copper-jacketed bullets, including hollow point and soft point variants. Key markings include handwritten notations on the box lids reading .22/250 AK, identifying the specific Ackley Improved chambering. The brass casings do not exhibit legible factory headstamps in the provided images, consistent with custom hand-loaded or remanufactured ammunition typically utilized for precision varmint hunting and target applications. The cartridges are organized in a grid pattern within the protective cases, with several rounds positioned horizontally for inspection.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in good, live condition with primers intact and bullets properly seated. The brass casings show minor surface tarnish and handling marks consistent with remanufactured components and storage. The gold-toned projectiles exhibit some light surface oxidation. The blue plastic storage cases are structurally sound with functional hinges and latches, showing only light external wear and handwritten ink markings on the lids.
